Plain English. Last updated: June 2026 ยท Private beta
Larzo holds some of your most personal thoughts, so we want to be precise โ and honest โ about how we handle your data. This policy describes what's true today, during our private beta. We'll update it as Larzo grows, and we'll never claim more protection than we actually provide.
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We decrypt it only when needed to provide Larzo's features โ for example, to write your morning note or respond to you. It is not used for advertising, and it is not sold.
We're being deliberately precise here: Larzo is not end-to-end encrypted. To do its job, our systems (and the AI provider below) process your information in readable form at the moment a feature runs. We don't claim otherwise.
To understand and respond to you, Larzo sends your conversations to our AI provider, Anthropic (the makers of Claude), through their API. Anthropic does not use data sent through their API to train their models. Your conversations are processed to generate Larzo's replies, not to train public AI models.
You can delete your memories whenever you want. When you do, we remove them from our active systems and age them out of backups on a set retention schedule (backups are not kept forever, but they may persist for a short period before they cycle out).
Larzo is a companion, not a doctor, therapist, or emergency service. If you're in crisis or need urgent help, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
Larzo isn't intended for anyone under 16. Please don't use it if you're younger than that.
As Larzo develops, we'll update this policy and note the date above. If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your data, we'll let you know.
